I am re posting this blog entry as the original post was somehow deleted when my hosting company did a server upgrade a few weeks back. I shot Dee and Lish’s engagement in last December, so it’s a while back. They are such a wonderful couple, they are very easy to work with, fun, and lovable. The Getty Center is such an awesome place to shoot, it’s a photo opportunity on every corner, I hope we could spend more time there.

We started the day off getting ready in The Westin and we headed over to The Camp for the bride and groom shots. We almost got every shop owner come out to kick us out, as they said the site owner had recently requested a permit to shoot here, but we still managed to get a few shots. Leanne, Cormier and the wedding party was so much fun, they have so much talent. Did I mention, they made all the jeweleries for the wedding party on site that day? I am really happy to be part of such a fun party.

I finally made up my mind to get this after hearing how great it is. It took me a week or so to get use to the pen, but it’s well worth it. It makes editing so much easier compare to using a traditional mouse. I chose this version of the tablet because it also comes with Multi-Touch. I can use simple hand gestures and finger taps on the tablet’s surface. I can easily move scroll through photo galleries, navigate the web, zoom in and out of photos, and editing images is such a breeze.

I have known Vince for 4 years since the good old days in USC. I am just there to be a guest for their wedding, but I decided to bring along my camera and take a few quick snapshots. They are just a wonderful couple and the wedding is awesome. Lucky Vince, Lo is a chef, so he gets to eat some really lovely food all the time. The cake topper is so cute, Vince spent 6 hours making it himself. Thanks for having our family there, we enjoyed every single part of the night.

Erin had always wanted her wedding to be on the beach, so even it’s 4 hours drive to get here, the wedding party still came all the way from Vegas. It was really chaotic early in the day, Florin got sunburn in the morning. Erin have to run across the street to buy some pins half an hour before the ceremony starts, the streets were totally blocked by firefighters and police as a hotel guest fainted, but at last we got through all the hurdles and had a wonderful time.

2009-05-31 Wyndham Hotel, Costa Mesa, CA: Chioma and Akram is such a lovely pair of couple. Chioma is from Nigeria, so we got a lot of guest that traveled long distance to celebrate their big day. Chioma’s dad was so proud of her daughter, he have so much happiness to share during the toast that he forgot to stop. The DJ have to stop him after 30 minutes before he realized this. Chioma will be starting her residence as a doctor after the wedding, so she will be away from Akram for awhile. Hope you guys have a wonderful honeymoon before the short separation begins.
